It’s all about balance. Typically, a lot of thought is put into absorbing low-end sound and flutter echo when soundproofing a recording studio or home theatre but adding only absorption materials can leave your space sounding unbalanced. These panels offer a solution by absorbing low end frequencies while at the same time controlling high-end frequencies leaving your space sounding balanced. The absorption material absorbs low range frequencies while the decorative front panel diffuses and evenly scatters mid to high range frequencies throughout your space. These Panels not only work amazing but look fantastic as well! Our clients use these in their music rooms, pod cast studios, recording studios, living spaces, hallways, home theatres, conference rooms, entry ways and more. Elevate your sound experience in style!
Jackson acoustics hybrid panels are expertly designed to balance sound with precision, scattering reflections evenly to achieve consistent decay times across low to high frequencies. By combining high performance absorption materials with mathematically engineered slat patterns, these panels offer one-dimensional or two-dimensional diffusion. The result is a controlled acoustic environment that retains brightness, clarity, and warmth, perfect for spaces demanding both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
High-quality materials, careful packaging so they arrived in pristine condition, and has really helped the sound balance in my entertainment center. Highly recommended.

It all depends on the total square footage of the surfaces in a room. We recommend minimum coverage of 20% to 30% of all hard surfaces.
Acoustic Sound panels are used to remove reverb and echo in any space. They are excellent in absorbing sound at all high and mid frequencies. They stop sound waves from bouncing back and forth, which in turn yields better stereo imaging and a greater depth of sound stage.
Sound Diffusers have two jobs, absorb and reflect sound. These panels absorb acoustic issues like flutter echo and reverb while reflecting soundwaves in different directions creating a more balanced sound experience throughout a listening space.
It depends on the application. In a recording studio environment, Placing at the first reflection points will greatly enhance the overall sound and promote a balanced mix. In living rooms, offices or other non-critical listening environments, personal preference is considered.
We use 6lb per cubic foot high density rigid fiberglass absorption material which has a noise reduction coefficient of 1.05. Our Sound Diffusion panels have a wooden frame made from solid pine wood. Our Sound Absorbing Panels are frameless. We wrap all of our panels using flame retardant acoustical fabric. Our scattering plates are made from real wood veneers and melamine.
